Like many of you, I am a complete sucker for the challenge of a New Year’s resolution. So, each year I tend to make a few of them and each year they are mostly the same. This year, I have added a new resolution to the mix and it has to do with my business. Do not get me wrong, I am grateful for the clients I have, new and returning, and I adore the families I am already so privileged to serve. My goal for 2016 is to expand my business to other parts of our beautiful state and possibly beyond. I have come up with different ways to make my goals happen and one of them is blogging. I haven’t been consistent with my blog in the past. To be honest, I’ve never been a particularly good blogger. This is something I will have to work hard at maintaining, but I know the benefits can be astounding. I am going to make it a part of my weekly routine and I hope you reading this will help me reach my goals. If you like what you see, please share my work with your friends and families!
So, with that said, I am ready to post my first blog of 2016 and I couldn’t think of a better beginning than with one of my favorite weddings of 2015. Sundi and Will were married on October 17th, 2015 at Caspiana Plantation in Shreveport, LA. The wedding had an elegant storybook theme, a lot of it DIY. I love a wedding with a theme and all of the details were beautiful! They included little touches from their favorite books or series; Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Narnia, etc. The ceremony was very sweet with a good friend officiating and telling funny stories. The party afterward was lively with music and dancing. It was a perfect day!
